A family-run cannabis store on Academy Road in River Heights, and we have served the community for 5 years. We are hiring one part-time Sales Associate.

Our Ground Control platform runs on the sales floor alongside our team and handles the tedious side of retail, from inventory alerts and opening and closing checklists to receiving, web-order fulfilment, shift reporting, purchasing, and compliance. That means our Sales Associates can focus on selling, educating customers, and growing loyalty.
About the role
Our team runs Ground Control on an Android device on the sales floor, alongside the Cova POS and WhenIWork for scheduling. On shift you will welcome customers, talk them through our menu, ring sales, pitch our loyalty programme and lottery, receive product, keep the floor tidy, and help with web-order fulfilment.
What we expect day to day
- Follow LGCA, MBLL, and Cannabis Act regulations at all times
- Follow Jupiter Cannabis workplace guidelines and steps to service
- Offer the loyalty programme and pitch lottery and break-open products on every sale
- Know our full inventory inside and out, which means studying our website menu on your own time before shifts
- Follow our written opening, closing, and till-accuracy procedures
- Smoke-free and vape-free workplace, no personal cell phones on the sales floor
- Arrive on time and ready to work

- Enjoys working from digital checklists and written procedures
- Comfortable using Android apps on shift
- Reliable, shows up for scheduled shifts
- Able to work independently and run the store to the same standard every day
- Can recommend the right product to any customer from memory, because you have learned our inventory
Requirements
- 19 or older
- Currently reside in Winnipeg with reliable transportation to 580 Academy Road
- Legally authorised to work in Canada
- In-person experience in a licensed Canadian cannabis retail store
- Smart Choices Cannabis Retail Certification
- Willing to provide a current WPS criminal record check
- Available for all of the scheduled shifts above
Cova POS experience and cannabis retail keyholder or management experience are a plus.
